Elves-N-More

The Christmas spirit was brought to many children in our community this year thanks to our special volunteers. We know we can make a difference and touch the hearts of many by the small and simple things we do. We wish all our young women to feel that same spirit throughout this holiday season. We know Jesus Christ is our savior and redeemer. And we rejoice because he lives!

Teddy Bear Parade

Thanks to all who came. This was a fun service and they really needed us there. We signed kids up and saw all the neat costumes and bicycle decorations. Some of us got to use our creative side to make the TBP chalkboard sign, and others showed their leadership skills in leading the different age groups in the parade. We are proud of our girls. Much love.

ICM Service Project

What an experience! We began at the church with a warm complimentary breakfast :) That was nice because it was cold outside. After teaming up with a few young men, we arrived at the assigned location to put together Christmas trees, but there were some hold ups with the delivery of the trees. We would've had to come back at a later day and/or time, but instead we opt to help load and deliver the trees from the storage unit a few miles away. This is where our service experience began. They loaded up two trucks in the pouring rain without a single umbrella. Our youth are so awesome!!!

Young Women In Excellence Program

Each year we put on a program to recognize and encourage the young women that have acheived their Personal Progress goals. This year we had a blast! We heard from some very spiritual motivators and aknowledged the the girls that reached their goals within the year. After reminising about the good times we had this year with a DVD slideshow of the girls, we stuffed ourselves with pizza and pop, and headed to the fUnHoUSe to go rock climbing, gaming, and play laser tag. It doesn't get much better than this. . . or does it? 2008!
